Since the beginning of August we have been delighted to welcome so many guests back to The Queensberry Hotel. As a team we worked incredibly hard to get ready for that opening and were proud to achieve the AA Covid Safe Assurance as well as Covid Safe status from our environmental health consultants at Food Alert.
On an ongoing basis we have continued to refine and improve our working practices to ensure that we can meet the changing guidelines and keep our guests and our team safe. We are proud to abide by our Queensberry Covid Secure Policy, balancing the desire to provide a safe environment without changing the “Queensberry Experience” for everyone. The feedback that we have received continues to affirm this is what we have achieved.
Looking ahead we are extremely excited about the reopening of the Olive Tree Restaurant. We are grateful for the contributions from everyone involved in the restoration of the kitchen post the fire in March. We cannot express just how excited we are at the prospect of welcoming guests back to enjoy Chris Cleghorn’s Michelin Star cuisine. 13th October will be a momentous day for us all!
The final part of these restoration works will be the restoration of the lift that will be completed by 12th October, a day when we will finally have put behind us the awful events of 22nd March!
Finally, we would like to assure all our guests that we monitor all government instructions during these challenging times and respond to them as required. On some occasions this means that we will have to change how we work or what we can offer. Rest assured we will do everything to comply and support the requirements to ensure we reach a day when our lives are not measured by this awful Pandemic.
Helen and Laurence and all the Team at The Queensberry Hotel & Olive Tree Restaurant wish you safe travels and look forward to seeing you in Bath soon.
