The Olive Tree Restaurant has the following vacancies:

Junior Sous Chef

Junior Sous Chef- The Olive Tree Restaurant at The Queensberry Hotel is looking for an ambitious chef to join our dedicated kitchen team.

Join the award-winning team:

  • Only Michelin Star Restaurant in Bath
  • 3 AA Rosettes

Details of Olive Tree Restaurant:

  • Dinner 6:30-9pm (Tuesday to Sunday)
  • Lunch 12:30-2pm (Friday to Sunday)
  • Closed Mondays (only breakfast and room service)
  • Closed 4 weeks of the year (1 week January, 1 week April, 1 week August, 1 week November). Breakfast and Room Service still covered 7 days a week whilst closed.
  • 1 breakfast shift a week (6:45-2pm)
  • 2 days off
  • Offer a 6 or 9 course tasting, a la carte, lunch menu on weekends only
  • No afternoon tea served

If you have the following, we would like to hear from you:

  • Previous Michelin star experience essential.
  • Previous Junior Sous/Senior CDP experience
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of chefs
  • Creative approach to your work with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confidence in serving guests to help create an unforgettable experience.
  • Experience in overseeing health and safety compliances.
  • Calm and professional work ethic.

Accommodation could be provided for a temporary period, subject to availability.

We offer a competitive salary of £27,000 p/a inclusive of gratuities, depending on experience.

Bar Supervisor

Bar Supervisor – The Olive Tree Restaurant at The Queensberry Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and knowledgeable Bar Supervisor to join our dedicated team.

Join the award-winning team:

  • Only Michelin Star Restaurant in Bath
  • 3 AA Rosettes
  • 4 Star hotel
  • Work with the Acorn award-winning Restaurant Manager, Owen Farr

  • Previous Bar Supervisor experience at Michelin star, 3 AA Rosette, or 4 Star hotel level.
  • Creative approach to your work with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong food, wine, and drinks knowledge; a passion for knowledge of ingredients and methods. WSET Level 2 minimum preferred.
  • Confidence in serving guests to help create an unforgettable experience.
  • Calm and professional work ethic.

Salary: £21,000.00 per year
